Background According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District.

Summary: Ms. Kent's Second Grade Classroom at Washington Elementary School has received a donation from Chip and Joanna Gaines. This includes picture books, social emotional texts and diverse texts, as well as classroom supplies. The total of the donated items is $1,072.82. By donating these items, Chip and Joanna Gaines transfer ownership of the items and relinquishes to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the items donated.
