Background: According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District.

Summary: Pleasant Hill Elementary School has received a generous donation in the amount of $1,000.00 from the Karavas Family. This donation is to be used for a fourth grade class DynaMath subscription, classroom math cubes, leveled reading books for the first grade Hallway Sunshine Reading program and for STEAM/STEM materials for the school. By donating these items, the family and Pleasant Hill transfers ownership of the items and relinquishes to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the items donated.
