Background: Teachers from both high schools worked together to generate standards for a new course titled African American History.

Summary: Part of the D200 process for curriculum implementation includes posting learning standards and materials for community review. Any feedback received will be shared with the Board prior to seeking final approval.
Funding: Additional costs include a set of 30 textbooks for each high school. The cost per book is $142.97.
