Policy:
Background: Fixed assets no longer needed for District purposes should be declared surplus by the Board of Education prior to their disposal.

Summary: We currently own assets that are no longer needed for District purposes and/or are too costly to repair.

1. 2003 Ford F-350 truck
2. 2000 Ford Ranger truck

Pending Board approval for disposal, we plan to sell, donate or scrap these pieces of equipment.

Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Education declare these items as surplus assets and allow the District to dispose of them.
