Subject: Acceptance of Gifts from Sandburg Elementary School PTA

Background: According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District.

Summary: Sandburg PTA has purchased the following items and donated them for the benefit of the students and staff of the school: P.E. sound system, books, miscellaneous department and classroom supplies, ipad/case, and grade level reading project supplies. The total cost of the aforementioned items is $2,832.52. By donating these items, Sandburg PTA transfers ownership of the items and relinquishes to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the items donated.
