Subject: Approval of FASTBridge Assessment Software
Vision 2022:
Background: D200 is in the third year of implementation of FastBridge Assessment Software.
File Attachment:
Summary: FASTBridge is a web-based system is used to assess students’ academic progress in the areas of reading, math and behavior. This system is two-fold; it acts as a web based management tool for assessments and offers probes (assessments) in the areas of reading, math, and behavior. District 200 will use it for students K-8 in the areas of reading and math.

School teams use this data to identify appropriate flexible groups of students for differentiated instruction as well as identifying interventions to support students who need additional instruction beyond what is offered in the core instruction. This software allows us to continue data collection with the implementation of Multi-tiered System of Supports.
Funding: The yearly subscription cost per student is $7.00. The District will have 9,300 student accounts totaling the cost for the renewal, $65,150. In addition, professional development for this system has an annual cost of $3,500. These accounts include all students K-8 and selected special education students at the early childhood and high school whose progress is being monitored to determine continued academic support.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board approve the renewal of the FASTBridge Assessment software.
