Background: According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District.

Summary: The WNHS Performing Arts Department has received a donation of an upright piano from James and Sharon Thiese. The piano will be used in a music practice room. The assessed value of the piano is $500.00. By donating this item, Mr. and Mrs. Thiese transfer ownership of the item and relinquish to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the item donated.
