Background: According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District.

Summary: Lowell PTA has purchased the following items and donated them for the benefit of the students and staff of the school: books, furniture, classroom magazines, miscellaneous classroom supplies, 100 year celebration t-shirts, Starfall-RazKids renewal and recess equipment. The total cost of the donated items is $5,783.75. By donating these items, Lowell PTA transfers ownership of the items and relinquishes to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the items donated.
