Background:
The original charter and bylaws for CAC were approved by the Board of Education in 2015 when the committee was established. At their December Meeting, Members of CAC reviewed, discussed, and approved some changes to the bylaws. Some language was removed from the bylaws that the committee felt was no longer needed. This includes language on the use of subcommittees and a section on a CAC liaison to the Board. Some adjustments were also made to the terms for members of CAC. Members of CAC will serve for one year with an annual opportunity to renew their membership up to five terms.
