Approval to Post Standards for HS Course - Media and Communication Practicum

Expand the opportunities for students to have choice, challenge, and success in their learning, through differentiation and personalization.

Design curriculum and learning experiences that ensure high literacy and math skills while also developing creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Teachers from both high schools met to develop new standards for a course titled Media and Communication Practicum.

Part of the D200 process for curriculum implementation includes posting learning standards for community review. Any feedback received will be shared with the Board prior to seeking final approval.  
Anticipated additional costs include professional development opportunities for the instructors to stay current on instructional practices related to equity in schools.  
It is recommended that the Board approve to post these materials for community review.
